UY2 Scotchlok 3M Gel Crimps

For connection TWO 19-26 Ga Wires

Water Meter AMR or AMI transmitters or wired remote meter displays should be connected with waterproof gel filled crimps. This provides a secure connection for wet, damp, or humid conditions.  Parallel crimp pliers should be used to secure crimps so that they are pressed evenly and pressed to tightly. Pliers available separately below.

Parallel Crimp Pliers:

For 3M Scotchlok 2 or 3 wire UY or UR gel crimp connectors

Parallel crimp pliers and wire cutter for connecting UY and UR gel waterproof wire crimp connectors. The end is for getting the proper crimp without over-crimping gel wire connectors. Inside end, there is a wire cutter for cutting wire and cable. The handle has a spring to open and a soft coated handle. 

Wires for AMR, AMI, and touch read meter reading systems should be installed with UY gel crimps for a secure waterproof connection. These pliers will crimp UY connectors properly. See our other listings for Gel Crimps and data cable.
